Activity calms on Friday, with some morning showers west of the Cascades dissipating into the evening. Mild weather is expected through Saturday. A cold front is forecast to move over the area from Sunday afternoon through Monday. Snow levels drop to 4000-5000 feet on Monday, which may bring 2 to 4 inches of snowfall to Cascades passes and Sawyers Bar Road west of Etna, making travel conditions possibly hazardous. Cold air lingering behind the front could drop overnight lows across the area.
