Storms will develop over the high terrain of central and northern New Mexico and slowly drift south during the afternoon and evening hours. Heavy rainfall rates will enhance the risk of flash flooding along and near the central mountain chain. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for much of the Slight risk area from noon until 9PM MDT.
