🍂Extreme drought has overspread all of southeast Georgia, northeast and north central FL per the latest drought monitor. 🔥Multiple hard freezes this winter have dried available fuels and are combining with worsening drought conditions to increase the wildfire risk throughout our region. 💧Light rainfall amounts are possible through the middle portion of next week, mainly at inland locations. ⛈️ Widespread beneficial rainfall will be possible later next week. During a drought,💧conserve water, 🔥practice fire prevention and follow directions from local officials, especially if your county or municipality has been placed under a burn ban or water restrictions.
