MONDAY, MARCH 9, 2026: Higher pressure and warmer temperatures will persist through Wednesday afternoon, with a strong cold front causing a drop in temperatures and increased thunderstorm chances between Wednesday and Thursday. As temperatures drop below freezing in some areas, snow may be possible over the Alleghenies. Windy conditions could persist into Friday as the front moves through, with skies gradually clearing before a weekend front moves into the region.
