Chances for showers and isolated thunderstorms will increase today with the greatest opportunities focused to the south and east of Phoenix. Timing will favor activity developing during this afternoon, then continuing through the evening/overnight. Most areas will observe generally light rainfall amounts, however locally heavier amounts will be possible in thunderstorms.
