Spending the season opener in northern Michigan The morning looks to start off mild with temperatures in the 40s and 50s, winds mainly out of the south, and patchy fog and drizzle hanging around parts of the area. Temperatures will warm into the 50s and low 60s by afternoon with winds shifting to west and northwest heading into the evening as a cold front moves through. Breezy conditions are in store by late morning/early afternoon with sustained winds around 15 mph and gusts up to 25-40 mph as light rain moves in from the northwest.
