Thunderstorms are expected to develop off the higher terrain to the west and northwest of the area this afternoon then move into the western panhandles late this afternoon. Storms will organize and congeal into a cluster/line of storms and move across the panhandles this evening. Severe winds of 60 mph or higher are likely and the hatching indicates the potential for significant damaging winds up to 85 mph covering the entire area.
