Scattered showers and storms move through the Northland from northwest to southeast this afternoon into early tonight. A few of the storms could be strong to severe, with the best potential for a severe storm in the Brainerd Lakes. Potential hazards with the strongest storms include wind gusts up to 50–60 mph, hail up to 0.75–1" in diameter, and brief heavy downpours.
